Travel Experience

I owned and managed Le Quartier Francais for 25 years, a Virtuoso property situated in Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands in South Africa. The hotel was the food and wine destination in the area , featuring as one of the top 50 Restaurants in the world. It constantly featured on the Conde Nast and T&L lists. So I really understand the little differences that make a journey unique and how to turn your dream into a journey of discovery. I have been travelling since my childhood and my children grew up travelling! Happy children equal happy parents!

I have explored cities, far flung places in Chile, safaris in South Africa and travelled for food all over the world. I understand the desire to “live like a local” and my network of hoteliers stretches across the world giving me access to special amenities and experiences!! I still live in Franschhoek when I am not off on an adventure. Love to eat like a local, discover art exhibitions, walk the back streets, meet new friends and experience the unexpected.
