Our company and Travel Edge have been on quite a journey partnering together for the past 10 years. We started our partnership in 2014 as a much smaller company after being sold. Back then we were approximately 250 employees and ten years later have grown to 700 employees with 100 full-time contractors. We were considered a carve-out of a much larger company and had to build our infrastructure from the ground up becoming a stand-alone company. Travel Edge was our original TMC in 2014 and we’ve been growing with them ever since. Before I started working with the Concierge Team, I had to deal with unresponsive agents and total lack of communication. I remember being on vacation and I had to change a flight last minute, but couldn’t reach the agent because she was also on vacation, and I had no idea! No email, no backup agent, no info at all.
 
In comparison, there was an issue with David’s flight to or from Hawaii last year, I don’t remember the exact details, but I do know it was a weekend and late at night. As soon as I called Tash on her cell phone, she immediately picked-up and said that she’s been following the flight and is aware of the issue. Everything turned out fine in the end but that responsiveness and being one step ahead was way beyond my expectations!
 
I believe that these examples clearly show the difference between agents/teams and how that can make not only my job easier, but also the executives who are travelling. Excellent communication, superb service, always one step ahead. I truly cannot ask for anything more or better than that! And I feel grateful every day for having such people to work with.
