Travel Experience

Having started in the travel business right out of travel school, I began my career in 1981. Most of my career has been in Corporate Travel working with major corporations such as SAIC, Chart House Restaurants, The Scripps Research Institute, as well as many Executive Coaching Experts including Dr. Marshall Goldsmith... the leading expert in his field. Two years were spent working aboard cruise ships, as Cruise Director for small ship cruising in Mexico and Alaska, and then Shore Excursions Manger in the Caribbean and Panama Canal. I truly enjoy the cruise experience and love to share my expertise. Leisure Travel is also a part of who I am. Most of my clients are repeat customers, of whom I have developed a great working relationship. I enjoy planning family travel, tours and cruises for my many valued clients. I look forward to developing a working relationship with future clients!

Barbara did an excellent job planning our recent vacation. She helped us arrange for a very nice 6 day cruise with Holland America, and also helped us with international flights, and hotel accommodations. She is very knowledgeable about the various options available to us, and I feel like she worked hard to insure that we got the most out of our trip. Great trip with the family! Barbara Dobson was, as always, a very professional and great travel agent. Pueblo Bonita Rosa is a lovely resort but lacking in child oriented activities and seems to have not figured out how to have an all inclusive resort and a time share on the same grounds. We felt ignored at times and the staff was always waiting for tips, this was confusing because we were not given a bill only a statement with our room number on it. Winter is a chilly time in Cabo and we had very cool nights and 2 full days of drizzle. Overall the trip was a success and all 13 of us had a wonderful time. - Marilyn S.
